Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Stonex Instruments is a family-run business that's been specialising in importing, distributing and servicing optical equipment for the South Pacific market since 1976.
Owner David Stonex has spent his entire professional career working with optical equipment in the medical, industrial, leisure and surveying fields, and has dedicated the last 24 years to being the sole NZ authorised importer and distributor of the world-renowned Kowa Optical Products.
Proudly supplying New Zealand retailers with Kowa sports optics including a range of high quality binoculars, spotting scopes and accessories, David and son Victor have a wealth of knowledge about the products and brand. For many years Stonex Instruments worked on a wholesale / trade basis, and in more recent times we’ve also started to sell our Kowa products directly to the public through this website.
